AIR: Courting a Legend
Partnering with Amazon Prime Video, we created these custom sneakers as an ode to Delores Jordan and the legend, Viola Davis, who played her in the movie AIR: Courting a Legend.
These sneakers were sent to Viola Davis herself (we are fangirling SO hard!).
Hand-painted Paisley
Inspired by one of the most iconic scenes in the movie (spoiler alert), where Delores Jordan negotiated the contract that changed the footwear and sports industries forever, we decided to adopt the paisley pattern in her scarf into the design.
Palette and Patterns
Every pair of customs is created with a unique palette of colors specifically formulated for the theme. In this particular project, we lent into the vintage 80s vibes, warmer colour tones that were used in the filming style of the movie. Inspiration can come from so many places!
